Bek Brooks is a Melbourne-based songwriter building a career between Australia and Nashville. Known for clever, emotionally precise lyricism and a magnetic live presence, she writes with sharp intention and a clear artistic voice.

Finalist in the International Songwriting Competition (top 2% globally) in the Country category, Bek is gaining international recognition as she develops her debut album, Capability Specialist.

Shaped across annual trips to Nashville since 2022, the record plays like a memoir. In 2023, she performed at the Bluebird Cafe during AmericanaFest. In 2024, she spent three months writing, performing and building a growing U.S. audience.

She has since recorded with Derek Garten (Taylor Swift, Brittany Howard, Jewel) at Prime Recording in Nashville, tracking songs live with some of the city’s most respected session musicians.

Her recent single, I Hate Your Ex-Girlfriend, shows the lighter edge of her writing, while the album explores deeper themes of loss, addiction, redemption and resilience.

Capability Specialist is set for release in the second half of 2026.
